Spring Program…
“Lighten Up”
My nephew was creating a slideshow for my Mom’s memorial…
I’d never seen some of these before.
She bought my camera for me…
There was an event at Hayward as we dropped our daughter off at her dorm.
Ashton Eaton was there- I heard his name called for an event. I’ve met his mom…
See anything you like?
Our white Camry was feeling very honored (and a bit intimidated)
to be in the very presence of this lovely machine!
If I’m being honest, and I don’t want to be anything but, these next several posts are going to represent the days while running around, celebrating two birthdays, Mother’s Day, and the loss of my mom.
All were taken in the “time frame”, but some days I shot a lot and some days not at all.
That’s okay, because, when I took on this project, I told myself I’d do it my way and I’m not going to quit over a technicality, such as twenty-four hour slots.
I hope this won’t offend the sensibilities of those who are sticklers on this matter. My apologies…
I came home from work, and this was on the door.
He made it for Mother’s Day, but he “couldn’t wait”.
I love the things he wrote about me...
Some days hold the best surprises!
{Buddies}
These guys have been tight since they were four.
One is mine and one is in my Kids’ Club class.
Mine was having a bad day and Logan was there for him with a hug and a smile.
He’s the best kind of friend! : )
I haven’t quit…
My family and I have been making preparations for my Mom’s memorial service.
Please say a prayer for us Saturday…
I’m looking forward to posting soon!
Have I mentioned that my middle daughter is a photographer? She is.
You should see her stuff. She’s thirteen. Her 365.
This was on my camera.
I hardly ever let her touch it. :).
These guys share a love of history. It’s a family thing, really.
He was totally into The Story of US on The History Channel, snuggling Dad.
This was one of those “moments” that make me smile and a little teary in the nose.
Love this family.
I’m working on getting myself into good shape
(I know, round IS a shape, but not the shape I most want to resemble)
These jeans are ones I hope to be wearing when Fall comes.
I think they’re fun. Anyway, I’ve just been thinking about it today… A lot.
After church and a fish taco from Carl’s Jr., Dad had to meet with some classmates to polish the details of a Sociology presentation which is to be given today (Go, Hon!)
We chose to stay on campus and enjoy the beauty of this Spring day.
B under a tree with his book of the moment
I’m having the best time with Windows Live Writer… Choosing my font and other things that I’ve missed using Blogger alone.
Let me play for a few days, then I’ll settle down.
